Quietly she enters. A woman of small stature and seeming to lack in colors, appearing only in shades of greys and blues. Silver hair, molten eyes that match, skin like porceline. Her clothing suits her moods, oft times she wears a long black skirt and matching poets blouse. Other times she will dress in all white or wear baggy, brown
leather breeks and an oversized green tunic. She wears full armor when on guard duty. Her feet are always bare. Her tanto strapped to her right hip and her harp encased in sacred oak provide contrast to the otherwise subdued colorings of the Dark Bard.
She settles quietly at a table near the door and sweeps the room to get a feel for the mood. Her harp slips easily from the confines of the case and dexterous fingers tune the fine instrument. With many years practice, she coaxes a haunting aria from the strings and a voice rich as the earth, soft as a breeze, sings a mournful song. Tis her trademark, the sad, dark songs. She knows many others, and many styles. But the ones she writes herself are always depressing, hense her title which she has truly earned in her years of wandering.
Her music has always been her first love, and as a bard, she has learned many things. Her elven grandmother taught her music, lore, healing through herbs and music, and mastery of the Elements. Her human mother, part gypsy, part Scottish, left her a legacy of magic as well. Her mother was a follower of the Old Ways and she learned the secrets of the tarot and trained to become a high priestess. At fifteen she left home to seek her fortune and met up with the notorious Captain Labhruinn MacRae and sailed as ship's musician for five years before coming to RhyDin.
Twas here she met, fell in love with , and married Thadus Mcvol. They have two children, Rodren Thadus Mcvol and Tae-Wren Silvereyes Mcvol.
She is currently wandering the realms, sharing her songs and tales, continuing her studies, and serving the White Dragon's Vengence as Lt. Commander of the Legion of Laughter. She is also compiling her songbook and tales. Within, you will find her works..."Writing In The Dark"
